The injection moulding process is a key factor in cable over-moulding as it allows the machinery to accurately control the critical tolerances to the external temperature and pressure. Continuously controlled hot melt thermoplastic is used for over-moulding to provide a consistent design and to maintain the right balance between rigidity and flexing of the cable and the cable housing. \u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the manufacturing process, the material is moulded over the cable\/wires & IC while the cable is being inserted into an insulated or non-insulated raceway or connector.\u00a0Getting the right balance between the tightness of the cables and flexibility offered by the housing is an invaluable feature in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the cable and its end-use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
